JSC «Astana Innovations»
In order to execute the Orders of the President of Republic of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev dated April 17, 2011 № 01-7.4 decree of the Government of Republic of Kazakhstan dated 30 October 2010 No. 1145 created an Investors service centers in all regions of Kazakhstan.
ISC was established with a view to increase investments and promoting and implementing projects that are deemed to have a high priority for the city. Since 2011 in Astana Investors service center of (hereinafter – ISC) under JSC "Astana Innovations", which operates on the principle of "one window", develop economic and legal terms and conditions for the implementation of projects consistent with the interests of the city and investors, monitors and controls the implementation of investment projects, and introduces framework measures to improve the investment climate.
The main idea behind the ISC is to develop new forms of cooperation with business and improve the investment process by increasing interaction between the executive authorities and the business community.
The main activities include:
Support investors throughout the entire project implementation cycle — from the investment concept to the project’s completion. Comprehensive development of legal and economic parameters for the implementation of infrastructure investment projects.
Bringing investors and leading Kazakhstani and international financial stakeholders and development institutions together in order to use their potential and capabilities to finance and support investment projects.
Presentation of the investment potential of Astana city in Kazakhstan and abroad in various media formats, as well as at exhibitions, forums, conferences, road shows and workshops.
Priority investment areas:
The ISC mission is to raise investments in socially significant projects that are supported by the government, including healthcare, education, sports and urban infrastructure. TheISC also focuses on large resource-intensive projects, municipal economy, and redevelopment of industrial areas including transport.
