International festival of nomadic culture «Koshpendiler Alemi» will become an annual event
Over the weekend, Astana hosted the International festival of nomadic
culture «Cspencer Alemi». Participants from such countries as Bulgaria,
Hungary, Kyrgyzstan, Russia (Bashkortostan, Yakutia), Ukraine arrived in the
capital of Kazakhstan, as the official website of the capital akimat reports.
The festival program consisted of demonstration performances of participants and musical numbers of performers, which are part of the heritage of the nomads of the great steppe. Team – Magyar Turan (Hungary), the Proto-Bulgarian survival school «Baga-Tur» (Bulgaria), NGO «Military-Patriotic club «1st Bashkir cavalry regiment «Lyubizar – Northern Amours» (Bashkiria), Ordovika Turkish team for historical reconstruction (Turkey), «Sky Nomad» (Kyrgyzstan), «Sarbazrukhy» (Kazakhstan) became conduits for the audience into the world and culture of nomadic civilization.
As noted by the organizers, the festival «Cspencer Alemi» plays a big role in preserving the traditions, history, unity and the spirit of heritage of nomads. Therefore, this event will be an annual one, it is planned to be held in different regions of Kazakhstan.
Three historical epics of nomads were presented to the audience. Among them is the legend about a magical fairy who saved Bulgarian folk warriors team «Bagatur»; the legend of the capture of the fortress by the Ottoman Empire from the Turkish team; the legend of love Medea and Aisulu, during the stage where the Kazakh team «Sarbazrukhy» demonstrated national game «tegulu», «isuu» and «audarya».
The territory where the festival was held was divided into seven villages, whose inhabitants were brave warriors, well-aimed archers, agile horses, the best craftsmen and musicians of nomad culture.
A surprise for the guests of the festival were master classes from experts in jigging, archery and other elements of the culture of nomadic tribes.
