According to the official website of capital akimat, the employees of the DES of Astana city has organized competitions for functional fire all-round.

The competitions were opened by the head of fire extinguishing service of Astana DES Colonel of civil protection Talgat Zhumabayev. The tournament was held on the territory of the sports complex «Kutkarushy» between the units of the garrison, which are directly involved in extinguishing the fire and saving people. The event was dedicated to the celebration of the day of the rescuer.

Functional all-around sport that uses energy-intensive movements, combined in a continuous set of exercises, with the use of its own weight and cyclic operation. Competitions in functional all-around provide an opportunity to identify the most physically trained rescuers.

The program of the tournament consisted of 7 exercises that are performed by the participant without stopping in the following sequence: climbing the assault stairs to the window of the second floor of the training tower, carrying two gas cylinders (cans weighing 30 kg) at a distance of 20 meters, turning the wheel tire over a distance of 20 meters, moving the wheel tire with a sledge hammer at a distance of 5 meters, winding the laid sleeve line in the «eight» way; free running at a distance of 10 meters. Participants of competitions carried out tasks in military clothes and equipment.

According to the results of the competition in the age category «up to 30 years» the winner was the senior firefighter-rescuer Alikhan Makhanov with a total time of 3 minutes 30 seconds. 2nd place in the senior fireman-rescuer Ruslan Torebaev and 3rd – fire of Kuat Kazbekova.

In the category of «above 30 years» won the senior instructor at the Department of professional training Oral Zhilkaidarov with a total time of 3 minutes, 6 seconds. At the 2nd place squad fire station No. 1 Sergey Mazur and 3-m – senior firefighter fire station No. 10 Yerzhan Abdrakhmanov.

The winners were awarded with valuable gifts and diplomas.
