Sport cheers from ambassadors of health
According to the official website of capital akimat, during the marathon Walk the Talk, Minister of health of the Republic of Yelzhan Birtanov gave Daniyar Zhumadilov, Yuri Melnichenko and Marat Jienbaev certificates ambassadors of health of Kazakhstan.
Kazakhs change their attitude to their health, the Minister said, there is a commitment to healthy habits and physical activity.
«The formation of people's need to be healthy, responsibility for their health and the health of their children is one of the priorities of modern society», – said E. Birtanov.
The Olympic champion in Greco-Roman wrestling Yury Melnichenko defined the main tasks of the ambassador of health.
«The health ambassador should motivate people to be active. This action is dedicated to the fact that you need to finally take decisive action and on such a sunny day to go in for sports. The mission of the health ambassador is this. During the year, we must involve the population of Kazakhstan to a healthy lifestyle and encourage them to physical activity on a personal example», - Melnichenko sad.
The athlete also noted that Kazakhstanis strive for a healthy lifestyle, but not all, unfortunately, are actively engaged in sports. Everyone has a desire, but many of them are in «sleep mode». According to the Olympic champion, the use of any opportunity to get up from the couch, get out of the house and just walk will be a big step to recovery.
«Now is the time of modern technologies and the time of strong people. I work with children a lot, today children are smarter in many ways than us, but physically they are weak. My task is to teach all Kazakhstanis to run properly, as running is the most affordable sport»,- said Marat Zhylanbayev, seven-time record holder of the Guinness book of records and the only person on the planet who alone ran the largest deserts of the world.
The captain of the KVN team «Sparta-Astana» Daniyar Zhumadilov stressed that KVN and sport are similar: in both directions it is required to become a champion, no matter what.
«It is a great honor for me. I love sports since childhood and I want my son to grow up and say that my father achieved success in KVN and in sports. Of course, not everything turns out at once, you need to strive, always work», - shared D. Zhumadilov .
Participants of the action could choose between running at a distance of 1 km and 3 km and Nordic walking. During the routes that passed through the Botanical garden, hot food outlets, drinks, devices for measuring vital signs were organized. There were also warm-UPS with instructors and choreographers, who could be trained to provide emergency care.
The marathon was attended by employees of the capital's medical institutions, active youth of Astana and foreign guests.
