Enterprises of Astana increased the production of food products
According to the official website of capital akimat, since the beginning of the year enterprises in real terms produced about 139 thousand tons, which is 3.8% more than the same period of 2017.
In particular, during the reporting period, 1,929 tons of sausage, 105,893 tons of flour, 12,169 tons of bread, 18,815 tons of pasta were produced in the capital. Since June this year, 17 fairs have been held, 7 286 tons of goods worth more than 2 billion tenge have been sold.
As noted by Vice-Minister of agriculture Arman Evniev, 92 projects (16 – dairy, 56 – meat and 20 – other projects – Auth) have been identified within the framework of the implementation of food belt projects around Astana within a radius of 50 km.). The implementation of these projects was made possible by the project approach.
We remind that the Road map for the formation of the food belt of Astana for 2017-2018 was approved in 2017. The food belt zone includes 17 districts of Akmola and 4 districts of Karaganda region.
On April 5, 2018, at a meeting on the socio-economic development of Astana, the Head of state was instructed to develop specific measures for the stable supply of domestic products to the capital. In order to fulfill the order, work has been carried out to update the Roadmap for the formation of the food belt of Astana for 2017-2018.
