Number of microcredits issued in Astana has been growing
Since the implementation of the program for the development of productive employment and mass entrepreneurship for 2017-2021 «Enbek» in Astana for micro-credit of small businesses in general, 992 million tenge has been allocated.
According to the Department for investment and business development of the city, to date, 49 projects have been financed for a total of 604.4 million tenge. Including in the service sector supported 18 projects, transport-2 projects, trade-15, production-5, catering-5. As part of the funds for 2017, 38 projects in the amount of 465 million tenge were supported, of which 22 projects are start-UPS, to guarantee 22 projects for a total amount of guarantees of 149.4 million tenge.
As part of the funds for 2018, 11 projects in the amount of 158.3 million tenge were supported, of which 10 projects are beginning entrepreneurs. 12 projects totaling 172.4 million tenge, as well as 10 projects approved at the stage of issuance in the amount of 165.5 million tenge are under consideration in the second-tier banks.
In order to ensure stable employment in 2017, a new program for the development of productive employment and mass entrepreneurship for 2017-2021 «Enbek»was adopted. The Department for investment and entrepreneurship development of Astana city is implementing the second direction – the development of mass entrepreneurship, which is aimed at micro-credits for the population trained, and for start-up entrepreneurs, where the maximum limit of funding per participant of the program is 8 000 monthly calculation indicators established by the law on the national budget for the corresponding year. At the same time, the maximum limit of financing per one participant of the program is calculated without taking into account the debt on loans and financial lease agreements of affiliated persons/companies.
