A new platform to support young entrepreneurs will open in the capital
According to the official website of capital akimat, it will allow us to develop and support the startup community of the metropolis.
The project is implemented by the akimat jointly with JSC "Astana Innovations", - international business incubator "Seedstars" and bi group.
"This platform will be the first in the CIS co-working center under Seedstars, the network of which includes more than 70 thousand startups around the world. It will be open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and is designed to solve urban problems. It offers residents-a large network of mentors, consultants, technicians. In addition, this format provides not only co-working offices, but also co – living areas for participants", -- Chairman of the Board of Astana Innovations JSC Olzhas sartayev said at a press conference.
In General, according to him, the company is carrying out systematic work to build the capacity of the digital economy of the city, a lot of smart projects are implemented that will allow the capital to become one of the most comfortable and sustainable cities in Kazakhstan.
The company launched the Astana Innovations Challenge project in 2017. It brought together young innovators, entrepreneurs, startups, experts and mentors from various fields. To date, 12 start-up competitions have already been held. The theme of each of the events was determined from the pool of urban technological tasks of the mayor's office, formed from the problematic issues of the residents of the metropolis. Since the beginning of last year, about four thousand people have participated in such hackathons, where a lot of startup projects have been created. Thus, the participants of Astana Innovations Challenge-Saccess are involved in the e-KSK project. This project simplifies the life of the resident and allows you to use one key to the opening of entrances, barriers and other premises of the house. Today, the project is located at Kunaeva str., 35 and 35/1. In total, in the plan to connect 17 entrances to this project.
The next implemented startup was the TuraQShare project-a mobile application for renting Parking spaces. To date, the project has been launched in six residential complexes of the city.
The project Docchain – safe service exchange of legal documents using blockchain technology. The project was tested at different sites in Kazakhstan.
The project Kompra – service background screening business partners. Allows for three minutes to check any Kazakh company on 40 legal and financial indicators: taxes, court cases, the presence in the registers of unscrupulous suppliers, bankrupt and pseudo-enterprises. Today the project is a resident of "Astana Hub" and entered the market of the Republic.
