Official website of the Metropolitan akimat introduces most significant achievements of schoolchildren in Astana at the international intellectual competitions.
According to the capital's Department of education, in Almaty at the X international Eurasian Olympiad, which is held jointly with the St. Petersburg national research University of information technologies, mechanics and optics, the capital's team "Spectrum: impulse" consisting of Jean Kurbanbayev, Amanbol Kanatula and Manas Maulen won a diploma of the I degree and a gold medal, as well as a diploma of the II degree of the XIX all-Russian team Olympiad in programming.
From 1 to 8 September, the XXIX international Olympiad in Informatics was held in the Japanese city of Tsukuba. More than nine hundred teenagers from 85 countries participated in the prestigious intellectual competition. Nurbakyt Madibek, a student of Spectrum international school, won a bronze medal.
From 1 to 7 September, the capital of Russia hosted the III Olympiad of megacities. Teams simultaneously solved problems in mathematics, physics, chemistry and computer science. Astana was presented by students of the Lyceum "Bilim innovation", Lyceum" Nur Orda", Lyceum № 66, physical and mathematical Lyceum. In the team event our guys took the third place among 33 teams. In the individual standings in mathematics, a silver medal was a pupil of the 10th class of the Lyceum "Bilim innovation" Danat the Duysenbekov, "bronze" pupils of the 10th class of the Lyceum "Nur Orda" Bibigul Congewai. In Informatics bronze medal was won by the pupil of the 9th class of the Lyceum "Nur Orda" Amanpal of Anatoly.
From 13 to 18 August in Nanchang was held the West China mathematical Olympiad, which gathered 246 young Pythagoras from China, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore and Kazakhstan. Students of Astana and Almaty defended the honor of our country. The result exceeded expectations: two "gold" and two "silver".
One of the youngest participants was a student of the 9th grade of the Lyceum "Bilim innovation" Danat Duysenbekov, who won the gold medal.
On October 23-27, 19 schoolchildren of the capital took part in the competition of scientific projects held in the Brazilian city of Novo-Hamburg. The competition was held within the framework of the XXXIII international educational exhibition "Mostra Internacional de Ciência e Tecnologia" (Mostratec). Among the best were 7 works of Astana students. As a result, the capital's students won 5 gold, 9 silver and 5 bronze medals.
From 8 to 15 July in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) was held XXV international Olympiad "Tuymaada-2018" in mathematics, physics, chemistry and computer science with the participation of representatives of Bulgaria, Hungary, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Russia and Romania. In our team distinguished 10th grade student of the Lyceum "Bilim innovation" Danat Duysenbekov, who won a silver medal and was awarded in the category "for the most profound knowledge in the theory of numbers."
From 3 to 14 July in Romania was held the international mathematical Olympiad, which competed in the knowledge of 615 students from 116 countries. The national team of Kazakhstan in mathematics won 4 silver, 2 bronze medals. In the team event, our team entered the top 20. Alikhan Kudaibergenov, a student of the 11th grade of "Bilim innovation" Lyceum, was recognized as one of the best in our team.
In the past year, the national team of Kazakh students won two silver and two bronze medals at the XXIX international Olympiad in biology in Iran. Students from 71 countries fought for the victory. With this excellent result has congratulated the pupil of the 10th class of the capital Lyceum "Nur Orda" Amanzhol of Quanta, which took second place.
The international physics Olympiad (IPhO-2018) was held in Lisbon from 21 to 29 July. Kazakhstan at IPhO-2018 was represented by five students who won four bronze medals and one diploma. One of the most titled members of the national team is a multiple winner of international competitions in physics, a student of the 11th grade of the Lyceum "Nur Orda" Kemel Nurdaulet.
From 18 to 24 June on the Greek island of Rhodes was held XXII Balkan mathematical Olympiad among juniors. The team from Kazakhstan showed an excellent result: the third team place among 22 countries and the first among the guest countries. There are two gold, three silver and one bronze medals in the Treasury of our team. And the 10th grade student of the Lyceum "Bilim innovation" Danat Duysenbekov scored the highest number of points, solving the maximum number of problems correctly, and thus won the gold medal.
From 8 to 13 December, the national team of Kazakhstan took part in the international Olympiad in physics, chemistry and mathematics "laboratory of training of talents" in Baku. Danat Duysenbekov won the gold medal, and the 7th grade student of the Lyceum "Nur Orda" Nurdaulet Nazarbayev was awarded a diploma.
