City mayor holds online reception of citizens
Employment and housing improvement issues are among the most frequent questions raised by citizens according to the akimat’s official site.
The city hall of Nur-Sultan never stopped its consultations with citizens since the quarantine; they were moved online. An e-card system was established to track the status of the citizens’ requests.
“The citizens mainly ask about employment and housing improvement. A programme in the housing sector is on the way to reinforce facades, replace roof coatings and repair staircases. This year, we will repair over 50 apartment blocks, repair and replace over 130 elevators. These efforts will significantly improve the housing conditions,” Altay Kulginov wrote in his Instagram account.
He added that demolition works continue on degraded buildings. One of the houses on the demolition list is 90 years old.
“All issues raised are followed up,” Kulginov emphasized.
