The charity event was attended by Deputy akim of Astana, Yermek Amanshayev and extraordinary and Plenipotentiary ambassador of the United Arab Emirates Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Al-Jabir.
According to Deputy akim of Astana Yermek Amanshayev, this action contributes to the creation of conditions for compulsory education, aimed at preventing the absence of children to school for social reasons, which, in turn, will have an impact on strengthening the unity of the city's residents and the continuity of generations.
"A number of projects are being implemented jointly with the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Astana. One of them is the action "Road to school -2018". Things for students provided domestic garment factory "Altyn Adam". President of the public Fund "Ummet" Mukhammedamin Kurmanali noted that the annual action "Road to school" provides support not only to children from socially vulnerable groups of the population, but also to domestic producers.
"We closely cooperate with the mayor's office of Astana. Akimat provided a list of children in need of assistance. In turn, we learned in what class a child learns, the size of his clothes, shoes, things bought only from Kazakh entrepreneurs. Thus, we support domestic producers," M. Kurmanali said.
It should be noted that the action "Road to school – 2018" is annual. For ten years, more than 2 million children received financial assistance in the country, and sponsors and patrons of the country provided assistance and support totaling more than 7.9 billion tenge.
