Electric Power Supply
Electric power supply system of the capital is 3 479 km of power lines, 925 substations, 210 distribution points and more than 3000 complete transformer substations and transformer substations.
Development of the Heat and Power System of the Capital
In 2015, there were 100 lean-to cabinets replaced, 19.5 km of cable lines with 10 kV voltage and 11 km of cable lines with 0.4 kV voltage reconstructed, distributors with the voltage of 0.4 kV purchased. The plan of works has been completed by 100%.
Boiler and turbo units have been commissioned at HES-1 and HES-2 in the capital in 2015.
Prospects of the Heat and Power System
Works on construction of the 1st stage of the new electric power source of HES-3 with a capacity of 480 Gcal/h are continued.
In 2016, it is planned to commission the Boilers Nos. 5, 6 with a capacity of 220 Gcal and the Boiler No. 7 with a capacity of 180 Gcal at HES-2, which will aggregately result in 400 Gcal increase of the heat energy. This will allow completely ensuring the facilities of EXPO, the new railway station and other social facilities with the centralized heat supply.
It is planned to carry out reconstruction and construction of more than 5 km of heating mains, as well as to commission the heating duct of the 4th and 5th lead-ins.
Commissioning of “Baiterek” 110 kV Substation and the implementation of the projects for construction of “Samal” 110/20 kV SS, “Turan” 110/20 kV SS and projects for the reconstruction of the distribution substation and transformer substations in the amount of 35 units will allow ensuring reliable and regular power supply for the city consumers.
Replacement of more than 15 km of CL-10 kV and more than 10 km of CL-0.4 kV of the power grids and reconstruction of 13 km of heat networks, as well as washing and hydraulic tests at 50 heating mains will provide uninterrupted heating season.
