In the multifunctional complex "Abu Dhabi Plaza", the Fire and Extinguishing Service of the Department for Emergency Situations of the city of Astana conducted fire and tactical exercises.
According to the scenario of exercises during the welding work in the room on the 33rd floor, there was a fire of building materials and forests with the spread of fire to the upper floor.
The service personnel, having discovered the fire, informs the fire fighting service and proceeds to evacuate the people from the building, simultaneously starting to extinguish the fire with primary fire extinguishing means.
Fire brigades and emergency response services (CMC, CIAOS, DIA, 103, AREC) were promptly sent to the place of the call. After promptly arriving at the site, the firefighters of the Firefighting Service begin the combat deployment, extinguishing and searching for the injured, conducting reconnaissance as part of the gas and smoke protection unit for the rescue and evacuation of people. The fire is successfully localized, there is no threat of proliferation. The area of ignition was 100 sq.m.
In total, 30 personnel and 8 units of equipment were involved in the exercise.
"Abu DhabiPlaza" is a multifunctional complex consisting of several buildings of different number of storeys. The construction of this complex was started in November 2010. After the construction, Abu Dhabi Plaza will be the tallest building in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. The peak of the tower is on the 77th floor - it's about 382 meters. This complex will be the tallest building in Central Asia and the 14th highest in the world.
The main purpose of carrying out fire - tactical exercises is to develop methods and methods for evacuating people, extinguishing fires and conducting rescue operations in buildings with large numbers of people.
