A feature of the new club Balausa is that it is focused on all children, including children with disabilities.
«Our doors are open first of all for children with disabilities. We want everyone to talk to each other. This will contribute to the development of their communication skills, so absolutely everyone will attend the sections together and be brought up in our club. Guys should not feel restricted, they all must share the common goal of self – development, aspiration to high achievements», - stresses the project coordinator Baurzhan Arafat.
The activities of the club will include various sports sections, such as chess, table tennis. Also, the children will be engaged in speech therapist and music teachers. By the time of opening, 20 people had already joined the club.
«Our goal is to promote the comprehensive development of creative and sports abilities. We want to motivate all to high achievements», - adds B. Arpat.
Public association Balausa-club works with all segments of the population, provides assistance to children with disabilities, from large or low-income families and the elderly.
«Some parents have a lot of children and do not have time to drive them anywhere, others do not have financial opportunities. Our club will focus primarily on these families. We give their children the opportunity to visit our sections free of charge», - he adds.
The initiative to open the center was supported by the mayor's office of Astana and allocated for this purpose a room in which young Astana residents will engage in sports and creativity. As noted by the organizers, this is their first club, but plans to open children's centers around the city.
