In the capital there were 2 maternity hospitals with capacity of 289 beds. The number of births at that time was 3,400 per year. Today the figure is 30 550, exceeding the 1998 figure of 8.8%. For comparison, the number of births in the country during the same period increased by only 1.7 times. International experts noted that such dynamics of growth is unprecedented in world practice», – said Kamalian Nadyrov.
Meetings devoted to the discussion of topical issues in the field of maternal health promotion are proposed to be held at least once every six months.
