Film project – "Heritage of the great steppe", - through which the younger generation will be able to study the history and culture of the Kazakh people organized for students of Astana schools akimat of the city.
Within the framework of the project, since November 22, free screenings of domestic films "Zhauzhurek myn Bala", - "Almas Kylysh", - "Road to mother", - "Zheruyk", - "Kunanbai", - "so there are stars" and other films that reveal the essence of the history and traditions of the Kazakh people will be organized in all cinemas of Astana for students of grades 5-11.
"All the films that will be shown to young people are historical, and this is no accident. In his recent article "Seven facets of the great steppe" the Head of state emphasized the importance of studying national history. He noted that the education of a sense of pride in their history and patriotism should begin with the school bench. In our opinion, through the national cinema, our students will be able to feel more subtly all the values that were born in the Kazakh people for centuries", - - said the head of the Department for social development of Astana Daniyar Yesin.
Today, the capital's shopping center "Keruen" held a show of historical films "Zhauzhurek myn Bala" in the Kazakh language, which was visited by students of several schools.
"For the younger generation, cinema is the best channel for promoting historical values. Bright images sometimes play a more important role than documentary portraits in scientific works. Through films, children pay attention to vivid historical examples, learn what true love for the Motherland, respect and support for their loved ones, friends", - D. Esin said.
Screening of films is planned to be held until the end of 2018. All the capital's schoolchildren will take part in the film screenings.
