According to the official website of capital akimat, the event is attended by contestants from all regions of the Republic, as well as from Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and China.

The international festival-competition of native Kazakh national folk instruments "Capolavoro di dombra 2018" is held in the capital for the first time. The main goal is the preservation and development of Kazakh folk instruments and songs.

This competition is held in two categories: "Instrumental genre", "Folk songs".

"I came from the city of Akkol. I've been playing dombra since second grade. My grandparents wanted me to play the dombra. Before that, I participated in many international and national competitions. I went to Italy, where I took first place. I want to take the first place here", - said the participant of the competition anel Kadyrova.

The event is organized by the international fund for support of talents of art, culture, education and sports and is supported by the ministries of culture and sports, education and science.
