All ambulances will be repainted in lemon color by the end of the year
According to the official website of
capital akimat, the capital has introduced new standards of emergency medical
care. Now all ambulances will be painted in lemon color. As explained by the
chief doctor of city station of ambulance Timur Muratov, cars color change related to problems faced by the medical team
of the ambulance daily.
"As the experience of developed countries shows, ambulances are constantly on the move in a large flow and regardless of weather conditions they have to overcome various obstacles. To improve the time spent to the destination in order to save people's lives, today it is proved that yellow or lemon color is more noticeable. In Astana, sometimes such weather conditions are-rain, fog, snow. And our ambulances with white color merge, become unobtrusive. This inconvenience both for drivers and crews," – says Muratov, Etc.
To date, the station has 101 ambulances, 10 of which have already been painted.
"This standard was introduced by the Ministry of health on May 5. 10 crews already follow the new standard, the others we plan to finish till the end of the year. Much improved the quality of traffic on the streets, many began to notice our cars, give way, and arrival time was reduced. Our machines are now according to the standard from 8:00 to 23:00 when servicing the call go with the included sound and light signals. After 23: 00 there is only a sound signal, it is the light-flashing beacons indicating that the crew with the patient", - explains the chief physician.
According to him, every day the remote 103 receives about 2,500 calls, mobile teams serve 1,700 people, some calls are closed at the level of a telephone conversation or in the directions to the territorial clinics.
