Day-care enrollment scheduled in capital city
This year, 20,198 toddlers will go to pre-schools for the first time, Nur-Sultan akimat reports via its official site.
Pre-school enrollment is scheduled to start on June 17. Electronic systems e.astana.kz or indigo24.kz will publish vacant spots in day-care centers (private day cares and mini centers) for up to 20,198 children (in 2019, there were 15 thousand slots), Nur-Sultan Education Department reported today.
The Department staff added that 2,442 vacant slots are for toddlers born in 2018; 7,877 for year 2017; 5,499 for year 2016; and 4,430 for year 2015.
“Online parent consultations are available at all public day-care centers from 8 a.m to 6 p.m starting June 1. Parents may also come to consultation stations at public pre-schools provided strict hygiene and disinfection measures are taken,” the Department staff noted.
The enrollment schedule and visualized information about application process will be posted on the following sites: bilim.astana.kz (Department of Education), astana.gov.kz (akimat official site), and e.astana.kz or indigo24.kz (electronic systems).
“Due to the quarantine in the capital city, issued enrollment notes will be automatically renewed in the system without parent involvement. A call-center is available for all inquiries at the following numbers: 55-68-83, 55-68-73 and 1445,” reports Department of Education.
