How moms become businesspersons: practical steps towards their own businesses
The Kasipker Ana project helps mothers with many children, single and low-income moms, as well as mothers raising special children in occupational training and starting their own businesses.
"Our course students master certain occupations, develop and refine skills, and start their own businesses afterwards. We help them do this. We have received about five thousand applications total. Of these, 120 mothers were trained and certified. 20 run their own businesses," - said Zhuldyz Baibolova, Kasipker Ana project manager.
Aisulu Khabibulina found her vocation in the beauty industry thanks to the Kasipker Ana courses. She decided to become a hairdresser.
"I consulted with the Kasipker Ana staff. That helped me in winning a grant under the Business Bastau program. I chose the beauty industry and want to learn to be a hairdresser," said the aspiring entrepreneur.
Indira Turlina has graduated from a course of manicure just recently, and she is already self-employed.
"We were trained to do combined and appliance-assisted manicure, apply a base coat and make gel coating. I work at home now," said Indira Turlina.
Let us remind that the Kasipker Ana social project was presented last September. One can use the telegram bot @Kasipkerana_bot to submit applications for training under the project. The program's news are posted on the @kasipker_ana Instagram account.
