The House of Craftsmen will open in Nur-Sultan. The deputy mayor of Nur-Sultan Bakhtiyar Maken announced this action call during the IX Civil Forum "Society and state: 30 years of partnership and development "Birgemiz."
"The project will be implemented within the framework of the Ruhani Zhangyru program with the purpose of social adaptation, skills training and ensuring permanent employment. Shaping a modern conscious generation and upbringing global citizens are among the priority objectives for today," Bakhtiyar Maken said.
It should be noted that several NGOs are working in the capital to revive Kazakh traditional crafts as well. They are Astana-Bereke public association and Craftsmanship Path public foundation. The organizations maintain free needlework clubs for students of the capital's secondary schools. The courses are also free of charge for mothers with many children, children with special needs, and people from low-income families. They learn to work with fabric, wood and jewelry.
