Representatives of 15 countries: Belarus, India, Japan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, China, the Philippines, Russia, Sweden, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkmenistan, USA, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan take part in the VI International tournament for the President's Boxing Cup. Overall, there will be170 boxers, including about 130 men and 40 women.

 The competition will be held in the sport complex "Daulet" from June 5 to 10.

Countries with largest number of members in team were Thailand with 17 sportsmen, Uzbekistan with 16 and India with 14. Most of the participants of the Cup are the first numbers of the national teams. In the team of Uzbekistan, for example, two Olympic Champions – Hasanboy Dusmatov and Shahobiddin Zoirov. Thailand represent a two-time Asian champion Wuttichai Masuk and a champion of the continent in 2015 - Chatchai Buddy. Last year's champion of the Kazakhstan’s President Cup Carlo Paalam, two-time champion of the South-East Asian games Charlie Suarez and Eumir Marsial, with whom Daniyar yeleusinov met at the world championship, arrived from the Philippines.

For Asian teams boxing tournament for the President’s Cup is an opportunity to try their hand before the Asian games, which will be held this year from August 18 to September 2 in Indonesia.
