According to the official website of Astana akimat, at the capital's racetrack «Kazanat» starts the Republican tournament on the types of baiga on July 6.

The national sports celebration for the Astana Cup will be held in two distances (alaman baige is 25 kilometers, baiga is 16 kilometers). Two horses from each region, as well as cities of national importance (Astana and Almaty) will be able to take part in the competition.

The total prize Fund of races dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Astana will be 20 million tenge. The main prize of Alaman baige for 25 kilometers is 20 thousand dollars.

The Republican baiga tournament is held within the framework of the campaign «20 national sports events for the 20th anniversary of Astana» announced by the Association of national sports of Kazakhstan.
