On August 4, the international Cycling marathon Blind Race Astana – Paris will start in Astana. The bike marathon will pass through 6 countries and 30 cities, the official website of Astana akimat reports.

The uniqueness of the marathon is the team of blind and visually impaired cyclists, who have to overcome about 5 thousand km the Marathon will take place in 6 countries, 30 cities and will connect two parts of the world. In 11 major cities, meetings will be held with representatives of the public, people with special needs, athletes, the media in order to promote the mission of the project, strengthen friendly relations and exchange of experience.

The solemn ceremony of the start of the Blind Race Astana – Paris bike marathon will be held on August 4 on the square near the monument «Kazakh Eli» (Tauelsyzdyk Ave.). Beginning at 12:00 o'clock.

The participants of the project plan to finish in the middle of September in Paris – the birthplace of Cycling.

The project was supported by the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, akimat of Astana, Association of small and medium business «El Tiregi», Paralympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Cycling Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, etc.

The launch ceremony will be attended by representatives of the MFA, MOR RK, MKS RK, Paralympic Committee of Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan football Federation, NCE «Atameken».
